SWEETFAITH BOOKS ISLAMIC STUDIES COURSE (Children Ages 5 - 15)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The SWEETFAITH BOOKS Islamic Studies Course is a comprehensive and engaging program designed to nurture children aged 5 to 15 in their understanding and practice of Islamic teachings. Rooted in authentic Hadith, this course illuminates the core essence of our faith through interactive lessons and practical application. Each chapter incorporates activities to reinforce learning, encouraging children to embody the Sunnah in their daily lives and foster a strong, personal connection with their faith.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• 🤲 Recite and understand the meaning of essential Morning and Evening Supplications.

• 🌟 Articulate fundamental concepts of Islamic Faith and Belief (Iman).

• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Identify and demonstrate an understanding of the rights of parents and other Muslims.

• 🕌 Comprehend and practically apply the pillars of Islam, including Salah (prayer), Wudhu (ablution), Sawm (fasting), Zakah (charity), and the basic concepts of Hajj (pilgrimage).

• 🍽️ Implement essential Islamic etiquettes in their daily routines, from eating to sleeping.

• 📖 Demonstrate knowledge of the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and draw lessons from his life.

• ✨ Integrate the Sunnah into their daily lives through practical application and interactive activities.

ASSESSMENT:

Assessment in the SWEETFAITH BOOKS Islamic Studies Course will be continuous and holistic, focusing on participation, comprehension, and practical application. Methods may include:

• Active participation in class discussions and interactive activities.

• Completion of workbook exercises and practical assignments within each chapter.

• Observation of the child's ability to recite and understand supplications.

• Demonstration of correct Wudhu and Salah procedures.

• Short quizzes or informal assessments to gauge understanding of key concepts.

• Parental feedback on the child's application of learned etiquette and Sunnah at home.
