The Arabic Reading and Writing Level 1 curriculum focuses on developing proficiency in the following areas:

1. Arabic Alphabet Mastery: Students will learn to recognize, read, and write the Arabic letters in their isolated forms.

2. Contextual Letter Recognition: The course covers the various forms of Arabic letters as they appear at the beginning, middle, and end of a word, enabling students to read and write them accurately within words.

3. Correct Articulation (Makharij): Emphasis is placed on proper pronunciation, teaching students to read each letter from its precise point of articulation.

4. Letter Differentiation: Learners will develop the ability to recognize and distinguish between Arabic letters, particularly those that share similar visual characteristics.

This Level 2 "Qaidah" course builds upon the foundational skills acquired in Level 1, guiding students toward fluent recitation of the Arabic language and the Quran with the application of essential rules.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

By the end of this course, students will be able to recite Arabic and the Quran fluently, accurately applying all necessary phonetical and grammatical rules.

COURSE OUTLINE:

Arabic Reading and Writing Level 2 covers the following key elements of Quranic recitation:

• Short Vowels: Mastering the pronunciation and application of Fatha, Kasra, and Dammah.

• Sukoon: Understanding and applying the rule of the quiescent letter.

• Natural Madd: Learning the rules and proper elongation of Natural Madd, including Madd Leen.

• Tanween: Recognizing and articulating the various forms of Tanween (double vowels).

• Sun and Moon Letters: Differentiating and correctly applying the rules related to Sun (Shamsiyyah) and Moon (Qamariyyah) letters.

• Extended Madd: Covering the rules and application of Madd Muttasil (connected elongation) and Madd Munfasil (separated elongation).

COURSE OUTLINE:

In this comprehensive course, students will learn to recite the Quran fluently while implementing the intricate rules of Tajweed. The curriculum integrates both the theoretical understanding and practical application of Tajweed rules, ensuring a deep and thorough learning experience. Students will receive extensive support and personalized guidance to perfect their Quranic recitation.

OBJECTIVES:

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Recite the Quran accurately and fluently, applying all the rules of Tajweed.
