Students must have completed Level 3 and be able to read the Quran.
In this foundational stage, the primary goal is to build a strong base for understanding the language of the Quran and Sunnah. Students will learn and be able to:
Read and understand short sentences and paragraphs from simple texts.
Memorize key sentences and phrases from the Quran and Hadith to build vocabulary and internalize grammar structures.
Develop listening comprehension through conversation topics related to daily life, family, and places.
This level focuses on building a solid vocabulary base without the burden of complex grammar rules, preparing students for deeper understanding in later stages.
This course is designed to transition learners from basic reading to a deeper comprehension of classical Arabic texts. Students will build upon their foundation by learning core grammar rules and expanding their vocabulary, allowing them to better understand the subtleties of the Quran and Sunnah.
In this course, students will:
Understand grammar rules and apply them to sentences from the Quran and Hadith.
Take part in discussions based on Quranic stories and Prophetic sayings.
Summarize and interpret texts from authentic sources, such as short Surahs and well-known Hadith.
Students will be given articles and portions of the Quran to read for homework each week, which will later be discussed in class to solidify their understanding.
All lessons are conducted live via Teams, providing a convenient and comfortable learning environment at home or the office.
Students are continually assessed with quizzes after each lesson, ensuring steady progress. A final exam at the end of the course will evaluate overall comprehension and fluency.
This course is for students who have a firm grasp of Arabic grammar and vocabulary and are ready to delve into the deeper sciences of the language. This level focuses on morphology (ṣarf) and rhetoric (balaˉgha) to appreciate the intricate beauty and miraculous nature of the Quran.
In this course, students will:
Analyze the morphology of words, understanding their root meanings and how they are derived.
Study the different forms of rhetoric used in the Quran and Hadith to appreciate their eloquence and precise meaning.
Engage in advanced discussions about the literary and linguistic miracles of the Quran.
The goal of this course is for students to not just understand the meaning of the words, but to also grasp the powerful, intentional, and beautiful way in which they are used.
